The eagerness to land into Michigan and see my childhood friend and her new life was tremendous. From the plane, I could already see and feel the difference in landscape from what I was used to in San Diego, which got me super super excited. I simply crave for new experiences, almost all the time, and the extent I was looking forward to for this trip was the size of a giant balloon.
